Past & Present
Founded in 1956, the company specialised in the design and manufacture of multi-drill heads. In 1962 it expanded into special purpose machine tool development and build that lead to major projects with many blue chip companies in the UK and overseas within the automotive, agricultural, power generation, oil and gas, pump and valve sectors.
During the 1970s subcontract machining was introduced using the machine tool build facilities with the capability to provide full supporting services from design for manufacture advice with the knowledge to provide customers with a complete engineered package including processes such as raw material supply, heat treatment, surface finishing and assembly.
So successful has the ability to engineer solutions become that subcontract operations now occupy the lion’s share of the business based on a very loyal, technically demanding customer base that creates a high ratio of repeat business.

Our skills involve design, development, application engineering, retooling and re-engineering with these technologies applied to subcontract production. Inca Geometric has recently invested over £250,000 in the latest CNC machining equipment at Chartham and provides precision boring and assembly using its knowledge alongside hand-based fitting skills. Projects recently completed include special rotors, vacuum pumps, escalators, marine components, camera mount equipment, special press tooling, special tapping heads, re-engineering emergency breakdown service for power generation and food industry.
